OT-Charter vs. ATT UVerse (Charter entering the neighborhood)

Charter is finally reaching our neighborhood. I recall a Charter v. ATT UVerse thread a while back but couldn't find it. What's been your experience with Charter vs. ATT for internet? Worth the switch? Lately ATT has sucked more than usual.

Thats like having to choose between a soldering iron shoved in your pee hole or eye. frick em both.

I had Charter cable/internet for 5 years before switching to UVerse cable/internet for 4.
Liked UVerse infinitely more. Didn't lose service nearly as frequently as I did with Charter and, when I did, the ATT service people were much easier to work with compared to whatever independent contractors Charter would use.

Speeds of Uverse aren't anywhere close to any cable provider, at least not in and around Athens. If that's important to you, make sure to check it.
