Sucks to lose a pitcher of Shelby's caliber, but this was a win any way you look at it.
A young bat on a major league roster with more controllable years than we had left with Miller. Not to mention he hit like .300 last year, stole a bunch of bases and played great defense.
Their #1 draft pick in 2015. Not sure about his defense, but he has a pretty good bat.
One of their top pitching prospects.

Braves have just ravaged the D-Backs farm system. In 2 trades, we've taken their past 3 1st round picks. Swanson- 2015--touki- 2014 (which only cost us gosselin)--and Blair- 2013.

Haven't followed the Braves much recently, but saw they signed Gordon Beckham to a 1 year deal recently. Any chance a return home can reignite the spark there?
