I feel sorry for Brian Snitker... I know this is kinda "thank you" for his 40 years with the Braves, but whata hella way to show it. Put him in charge of the worst line-up in modern baseball history... GotDamn...

But remember, we are going to contend in 2017. Remember? That is what they said when they were blowing it up. Just in time for the new stadium. I wonder if their statements are tied to the new stadium, nah, they would tell the truth.

They will be much improved next season. They have 3 players in the organization in the minors that if moved up would be significant upgrades. However, with youth you get growing pains. They aren't going to win big in 2017. I think most would be happy with a competitive team. Once Albies, Swanson, Newcomb, and Blair move up....the roster will finally have some players with some punch.

The best were the fans who said we'd be better off without the guys who can hit homers/drive guys in because now we have more guys who make consistent contact.

YOu are correct, but it takes a while for kids to learn to pitch at that level. I expect by next year he will become an effective pitcher for the Braves. Took Zack Greinke a few years.

Unfortunately with baseball you won't see this because of arbitration rules. They won't bring them up because it saves money.
