Watching them play in that weather is awesome. Every now and then we get some nasty wind/weather on beach golf trips....you'll score a ton but it's fun playing against the elements.
Problem is there arent many links courses in SC that we play that allow for low running shots. You'll go through a whole bag of balls trying to hit to an island green surrounded by marsh that's 150 yds out and you've got 30 mph gusts in your face.

This is very sad so far....these guys are shooting lawn darts and driving it 350 on every hole (except Tiger)

The course basically goes out in a straight line for front. 9, then turns around and comes back in opposite direction...So wind helping on front 9 and hurting on back so far today.
Lots of scoring on front and then they're holding on for par on the back for the most part.

John Daly at 3 under.... 
Seems like there's always an old timer that comes out of nowhere and contends in this tournament. How awesome would it be if Daly played that role this year ??
