Is a team that no matter the opponent, no matter the circumstance they come out playing pissed the F off and looking to run through anything that is in their way. Watching bama today yeah I know they have 5 stars across the board but that team is the most pissed off team I have seen play this year. They just want to impose their will on their opponent for 60 minutes. Hoping Kirby get those kinds of kids in here and they see every game as a championship game

Is it me or does it seem like UGA has a reputation for being soft?

Mark Richt's teams weren't soft. They may have had that reputation among some fools, perpetuated by Georgia haters at the AJC and a few sore loser tech and Auburn fans who constantly troll UGA message boards. But it was also willingly accepted by a bunch of soft headed Georgia fans who never will understand how good Richt was, even when we fall far short of his success for the next decade. They'll continue to find excuses for why Kirby Smart's poor performance is Mark Richt's fault up until the day Smart is fired, and that's textbook denial of reality.

A well earned reputation....we go years without playing a full game and then only do it once a season when we do manage to play 60 whole minutes. We have been soft since the early 80's

It's poor form to speak of yourself in the third person, Mr. Richt.

I think we were facvored against Auburn last year....if we weren't it couldn't have been more than a couple of points...The last win we have had that was impressive was against Clemson in 2014. We played 60 minutes in that game...

I'd say beating the SECe champ 33-0 was pretty impressive in 2014.

Its gonna take longer than I have left on the Planet to consider Missouri anything other than a conference rent-a-win...I now that is probably misplaced as Missourri has been pretty good in the past but I just ain't able to get to the point where us beating them doesn't just seem like the normal way of things....

Really? I thought they had a very good team in 2013. I was not as impressed with the 2014 team, but I thought they were much more than a rent-a-win.

Sometimes I think we allow our perceptions to be colored by other people's opinion rather than reality. Since being in the SEC, I think they had one really bad team....last year. Even when they had a bad record their first year in the SEC, it was due to a large number of injuries, similar to our situation in 2013.

They finished with ranked 11th in AP and we beat them by a larger margin than
Bama. We were 3 pt favorites going in,so I'd say the victory was impressive.

If a victory like that isn't enough to satisfy your expectations than I'm not really
sure what else will.

That would make sense. We won by 9 (I think) and typically it has to be pretty lopsided to make a team more than 7 point favorites. I was really nervous going into that game. While at times we looked rough, I thought all in all we looked pretty good considering it as the first game of the season. I hate playing tough teams right out of the gate, though. It can really put a damper on the season early, although, we have done pretty well in those games.

I think we looked good overall and well coached that game. I think most of us assumed 10 wins and a shot at the East based on that game.
