OL Mirko Jurkovic medically DQ'd after another knee injury

Came in underweight when he was a late add last Summer (formerly a tOSU recruit and probably going to redshirt no matter what) but blew out one of his knees preseason. Blew out the other knee this Spring and is now calling it quits.

Sucks for the kid. Hope for a speedy recovery and a great life after football. I hope Kirby doesn't drown in all this attrition. My god is he getting a plate full in his first year lol.

This sounds like a job for... SuperPittman!
Seriously, though, I imagine that this isn't a surprise to Kirby or Pittman, and might explain the hardcore emphasis on nabbing as many quality OL going forward as they are.
