Thought it was weird to see Kirby wearing an all black long sleeve polo at the weekly press conference.
Just an observation, but maybe we roll out the Black jerseys to get the stadium pumping this week? A win this week puts us in the driver seat for the East as well.

What did you think of Kirby's new humble less-defensive press conference demeanor?
With the black clothes and background, it felt like a funeral. Like someone had died.

He was much more taken back this time around. That's for sure, it looked like he just came from a funeral

Kirby's wardrobe is decided by his wife and his agent.
If Kirby had his way, he'd leave the house in a wifebeater and flip flops. Nothing else.

The background was the grey and black wallpaper this time too instead of the red. I don't think it means blackout, but the black G clothes were definitely scripted for whatever their strategy is. Be it marketing or otherwise.
Nothing that can be controlled in a press conference will never not be controlled. That's Politics 101.

I can assure you, Kirby is NOT going to follow up the Ole Miss game with a gimmick. If he did and we got trucked by Tennessee, he would run out of town an a rail. IF we do a blackout this year, it will be against an easy opponent.

Yep. Looked completely different than usual. That's what caught my attention. I'm sure like someone said he's probably just wearing black, but something to keep an eye out for.
