No one's mentioning Special Teams

GA special teams > AU special teams
Our ST have played effectively; AU's ST has had some problems -- poor kick coverage, missed field goals. GA's return game could make scoring significantly easier with some short fields while Blankenship & Nizialek make sure AU have to deal with long fields all game.
Other units have received accolades; it's time for our ST to have their best game yet. Let's win the field position battle and the game. Go Dawgs!

Shane Beamer appeared on my twitter feed a couple of days ago. I sent him complimentary tweet. ST has been damn good. Hot Rod, especially.

Carlson has a boot though so that kick-off coverage might be a dead point if the ball is constantly in the end-zone

Auburn won’t be kicking off very often.

I wanna see a kick-off return for a touchdown this year from the Dawgs.
We got close at Notre Dame, before the tackle at the 5 and then the penalty. No better way to bitch slap Auburn's team and crowd than to run one back at the start, and then make them go 3 and out.

This game will be a great opportunity. Auburn is last in kickoff & punt coverage in the SEC and rank #130 (last) and #116 nationally. Meanwhile, GA's got the best punt coverage in the SEC, ranked #3 nationally.

I think auburn is leading us in touch backs this year (and we are having a good year)

Their punt game is pretty rough, apparently.
Carlson is a really good kicker.

Let's just hope that every time Auburn kicks-off they are going against any possible wind

Hopefully they only kick off once, to start the 2nd half!

I'd rather take the kick to open the game. Let us punch them in the mouth on offensive, and then let the defense go rabid.

We've only taken the opening kick twice all year (App. St. and Samford). I kinda like shutting down the opposing Offense then driving it down their D's throat for a TD. Just kinda sets the tone to me.

I actually think special teams will win this one for us -
Rodrigo with the game winning FG.

So you're predicting that we score a field goal first, then by way of not allowing Auburn to score, all subsequent scores by Georgia are not "game winning scores"? I like where your head is at Finley...
