couldn't be worse than Auburn's. They start Sean White.
White started five games last season, throwing for 1,063 yards with one touchdown and two interceptions.

don't forget their backup QB couldn't even beat out a dude on his JUCO team who's best option was to try walking on at MSU.

Makes you wonder how a school that "recruited" Cam Newton got into this position.

Yeah, I thought about that. But then there's this:
Clemson
T A&M
LSU
at Miss St.
Arkansas
at Ole Miss
at UGA
at Bama

Auburn fans are already talking Heisman for White.

I said they sucked 2011-15. I was right 80% of the time.

The Fox Sports guys made their predictions on who will make the playoffs last night. Out of teams getting the most votes, AU plays 3 of them.

That is true, but there's a lot of differences around those teams.
In 2013 they were strarting anew so nobody really knew much about them, other htan the previous yera they sucked. Gus was new as HC but had success there as an OC. They also brought in NM from JUCO who at the time was a major question mark, but he still performed well at JUCO. They also had one of the SEC's best RBs that season. They kind of snuck up on everyone with Gus's offense, but give them credit here.
In 2010, they had Cam. Sure they were "supposed" to not be good but Cam is kind of a trump card that invalidates all other reasoning.
This season, Gus's offense isn't sneaking up on anyone. They've been steadily declining and htey don't have a new fresh start at coach. Similar to 10 and 13 they have question marks at QB, but unlike those years they don't have a really standout option. The battle is between a guy who sucked chode last year, a guy who barely played last year but we know what he can do, and the aforementioned nick marshall-lite who couldn't even start in JUCO. They also lost their DC who was the main reason they stayed in so many games last year. Not to mention they booted one of their best RBs this offseason.
Auburn is one of those head scratching teams that does well when nobody thinks they will, and when they're predicted for big things they flop. But looking at 2016 AU they just don't really look like theyr'e going to do very much.

On paper their defense and oline looks better than any team. This year could be one of those years they put it together.

They are good on the D Line but have some serious question marks at LB and DB. Also not sure who is going to run the ball for them this year on Offense.
