We do commit penalties, yes, but I would imagine some of the ones saturday resulted in it being the first game on the road at night. I would be almost willing to bet money we don't commit 9 penalties this Saturday.

Geez where to start with this pile of garbage.

1)Clemson had a bad snap too, and wouldn't ya know it they had a false start on the SAME PLAY! I guess they lack discipline as well?

2) That didn't cost us the game, seeing as how we went into the 4th quarter down 3 points. It sure didn't help, but no play in a 3 point game before the 4th quarter even begins loses you a game by itself.

3) Poor defense and poor OL play are due to poor coaching in those areas or/and not enough talent. It has nothing to do with "discipline". Are you saying if Richt was harder on the guys in practice Norman would've had better coverage on the perfectly thrown TD ball down the sideline? Or that more discipline would make Gates become a better blocker?

3. Ongoing discipline issues off the field

This is just absurd. Our players don't do ANYTHING different than they do at bama. Our players go to bars, drink, smoke, etc just like bama's players do. The difference is our school Administration and local PD has practically a zero tolerance policy where other schools do not. In fact, UGA is one of the most "disciplined" schools in the conference.

what is missing is instilling daily discipline that prevents the big screw-ups in the first place.

You aren't on the team, how do you know what the players see everyday? I have friends that work for the team. These guys KNOW from the day they step on campus what is/isn't allowed and what is expected. They know the rules, they know the punishments, and they know the consequences. It is hammered into them before holidays and breaks what is expected. There isn't a single person on the team who is unclear of what will happen if they do wrong. Yet some do it anyway. There is, quite literally, nothing you can do with those people other than punish them after they get in trouble...which we do. Severely, actually.

Knute Rockne, Tom Osbourne, Jimmy Johnson, and Woody Hayes think that you are one ignorant a-hole.

Saban is a great coach, you would be a fool to argue otherwise. However, you would also be one ignorant frick to proclaim him as "best ever".

Saban and Johnson are about equal as far as collegiate success goes. However, One of them was able to win a Superbowl in the NFL and the other was run out like a punk after going 15-17 in 2 seasons

How does your logic work?

That Saban has 4 national titles and Johnson has 1. I was speaking strictly about cfb, not the nfl. Don't get me wrong Jimmy could've been the best ever, but he left.

We are an extremely spoiled bunch. I'm not sure any other fanbase anywhere is as much as we are.

Honostly, STFU! Why don't you mention how Saban stretches the bounds of CFB rules to the legal limit and beyond. Geez, WTF does he have oversign players if he's
such a freakin wizard on the field? How bout having more non-coaching coaching personnel than any other team in CFB? Whats he up to now, 27?

If it's all about "discipline" shouldn't he have the "discipline" to compete without these advantages?
