That sucks. He's 33 and had 3 sacks last year. Why not just keep Abe if that's our best play.

I hope the falcons don't pick a player on how good they will be on the field, but instead someone who will be good on Dblock.

prior to last year this holds true. He had a really solid year last year though allowing only 3.5 sacks all year. Lets hope the recent trend continues and this will be a really good signing.

I think part of that is we ran a ton of screens and bubbles which are quick routes but like you said, I hope we see more improvement.

By resigning Baker this will improve the protection on Ryan. Baker did not suck before. He was injured and unable to play to his full potential. With Baker being back to 100 %, I think the signing is well deserved. Even Ryan himself said that he wanted Baker back.

Wes Welker signed with Denver today. Manning now has Eric Decker, Dropsies Thomas, Wes Welker, Knowshon, and Jacob Tamme to throw to. Good God that offense is stacked.
