Went through the same thing here many years ago. Regardless of the outcome, your family WILL come through this stronger than before.

Prayers for you and your family Kneehigh.
I am still fairly young so I haven't experienced anything like this so I don't have any specific wisdom or advice to bestow upon you, but just know that we are all pulling for you and your family.

Sorry to hear about the complications bro, on the flip side don't lose faith. I was a 10% survival projection. My moms water broke at 3 months and she wa s placed on bed rest and thanks to her being diligent I'm here. Ill pray for you bro and hope your boy graces us with his presence completely healthy.

Knee ... I'm not a very religious person, but if the Old Man upstairs will lend me an ear for a minute or two ... I'll ask him to look over you and your family. You will be in my thoughts brother.

I know I may come across as an a-hole here... though I have tried to put life and UGA sports in perspective... I met this beautiful young lady 8 years ago... we went on to get married and we were blessed with a beautiful little girl. We received news 20 weeks from today that we would be welcoming another true die hard DAWG into the family... We found out Monday.... man... this is hard to write... I apologize... it's tough... It's a boy... My boy Jack... My wife is now in the ER having complications with her pregnancy... The doctors say there is a less than 25% chance the baby.., My boy... survives... It's killing me.... I'm sorry for sharing this but I consider this place as another place to share my feelings because alot of you a-holes make me feel good on a daily basis... All sports aside... I had huge plans and still do, but now I feel empty... I feel bad for my wife and my daughter... Again... I love all you guys Disney, Doomsday, or not... Pray for us please. Thanks in advance.
I'm sorry to hear man. I'm not very religious either, but prayers and good wishes sent your way.

My Wife and I were told my youngest daughter would "have zero quality of life."
Today she ride ponies and ran around in the pumpkin patch.
Pray Son.

Kneehigh, I hope all is well with you, brother. I saw this post earlier, but wasn't where I could respond.
My wife and I are on week 19 of our third pregnancy now and I cannot fathom how you must feel getting that news. That said, I'm hopeful that, despite the odds, God will see you through it. We can't explain why things like this happen. We can come up with theories a mile long, but the truth is, we just don't know. But I believe faith is the first step...and if you have that, you can prevail over whatever the trial may be.
I believe in miracles and will pray for you and your family. Stay strong. As someone else has already stated, your wife will need you now, more than ever, regardless of the outcome. Godspeed to you both.
