Hell of a defensive coach but the head gig just isn't for him. I would love to have him on staff.

Minus looking like the aftermath of an atom bomb in a kids ear

If true we should make a move to hire as a position coach immediately...probably wouldn't take but we should try.....dude is a defensive brain.....

This sucks for Will but I know a lot of Gator fans will be happy.

Pretty sure he's still coaching until the end of the season. Let's hope he does beat them

The Chump will end up as DC at either USCe or the Barn.

Well done. Agent Muschamp. Sorry we couldn't deliver the kill shot. Your work in Gainesville is much appreciated. You're a DGD.

Did anybody see Spurriers interview on the field rigjt after the OT win.?

He wasn't even asked about muschamp, but he started going on about how bad he felt for muschamp for losing to him.

WTF? Does that maybe provide some insight to where Spurrier's head is at these days? Didn't seem very steve-spurrier-like to me.

I think it was more akin to him being on the other end of it two weeks ago. An "I've been there" moment.

Plus I'm sure he knew he was a dead man walking.

Some guys can make the transition from fiery coordinator to coach and some cant. Dabo almost didnt make it, but he figured it out in time. Feel sorry for Muschamp, the guy lost his dream job basically. There will be teams knocking his door down to coach their defense though. Might he be in Columbia next year?

You'd think he'd have praised his players for never giving up or something.......instead of weeping for the other coach losing.

At least thats what the old Spurrier would have done. This version of Steve has gone soft apparently. Maybe part of him is already retired. I don't know. I'd be a little comcerned if i were you though

I have it on good authority that UF plans to hire Lane Kiffin as their next HBC.

No sense worrying about stuff I can't control. Wish I could tell myself this DURING football games...

Plus Spurrier did take a shot at Clemson in the post game conference, so there's that too. I think he just genuinely felt bad for Muschamp, and he did commend the players in the same interview.

am wondering if Spurrier, at the end of their game , was informing Muschamp of the impending def coord job opening at SC for the coming season..
