And it seems like they could be struggling to adapt. This is an article that seems to show some discord or disconnect between the D Line and the new coaching staff on D.

In a nutshell the defensive line is not able to play instinctively but must read their gaps and then react. Seems like it is slowing them down a bit compared to previous years. My hope is that gives our Oline and running game a very slight advantage. I also suspect that if we can hang some points on them early the mizzou players will get frustrated/confused/aggravated.

The article is insightful.

Getting those multiple TE sets in place could help, as well. We'll see what the offensive game plan is but I would expect it to be very run-heavy like the last two games.

We just need to run the gimmick offense with Imac running the sweep, chubb up the middle, and 3 wr's on go routes every play.

Run it down their throats.

Something tells me we're going to see much improved blocking Saturday.

It will be like how Rumsfeld described terrorism.

They have to be right 100% of the time. We only have to be right once.

What will help even more would be spreading the field and stretching their DLine with outside runs. They are lacking depth and will wear down and our run game will own the 2nd half.

That's what I'd like to see, especially in the first half.

Then in the 2nd half just line up and run it down their throat behind the Payne Train in 2TE sets.

Can Eason run good?

Or do we need to start Ramsey just to mindfrick everybody?

Thats what I would do.

Eason doesn't need to be a good runner. Play action and a rollout pass or pitch to the RB going outside is all that is needed to make the DLine have to run.

Missou will put 8 guys in the box until Georgia burns them passing. Eason will need to throw deep and use the TEs to keep them honest.

We need to stretch the defense vertically and horizontally if they stack the box. A vertical threat is great to keep the safeties back but we can also attack the edges and make their DLs and LBs run in the first half.

Once they are worn down we can line up and run straight at them in the 2nd half, play ball control, rotate backs, and keep our own defense on the sideline resting and chomping at the bits to attack them.

Yeah I saw that 15,000 tix still available. You'd have thunk their fans would like to see this game.

What's their capacity anyway after the expansion?

Found it:

Record attendance?:75,298

Construction cost?: $525,000; ($7.02 million in 2016 dollars)?

Location?: 600 East Stadium Boulevard; Columbia, Missouri 65201?
Opened?: October 2, 1926; 89 years ago

The school's Social Justice hijinx pissed off a lot of their alumni. That's got to impact ticket sales.
