Kinda odd cuz he was all over the hinting. Hard to backtrack off of that. And he wasn't the only one I saw....in addition to other folks on 247 previously.

I say be patient.

You've been all ITT running around asking questions like a lab chasing his tail, now you wanna say we should know something between now and Monday? ???

First off, pretty much everyone expected that anyways. Secondly, you seem like the type of slimy count to throw shite on the wall and hope it sticks so you can beat your chest and say "told ya so".

You should just go back to telling everyone how sweet you seats were in the dome a few years ago. At least then it was obvious you were looking for acceptance, now you just look like a welfare recipient who just hit the big bucks and made the call to Ken Nugent after a fender bender.

Not asking for acceptance or trying to stick crap to the wall. Eason is to choose between us and Florida early next week. You would think KS would make and OC hire during the recruits visit.

That cu nt was quick with the down vote too. That's what the pussies do when they don't have the balls or brains for a rebuttal.

Wtf has happened to this place? Does no one have any balls anymore? When did this become one giant menstruation convention?

Oh and btw. It's couldn't care less, dickbag. Stand up for yourself and show some pride. Quit being a fricking pushover. This shite isn't even fun anymore.

So how does he Power Spread differ from the Spread? Didn't Eason want to be in a Pro Style offense. Is the Power Spread a hybrid?

edit: found this: This is how the power spread works in principle, by combining gap schemes that create numerical advantages at the point of attack with spread formations and passes that prevent the defense from being able to keep their players in position to respond before a crease is created for an offensive skill player.

Even the fastest defenses struggle to match the physicality of these offenses' run game that occurs as a result of the power run scheme, largely because they are just repeatedly flanked.

I coached in the system in Texas when run properly in it nasty. Some of the largest running holes I have seen were when we would be running HUNH shotgun spread and after 3 plays with our 11 personal that we had been running, we would jump into a single back TE under center look run quick count and the defense was never set. I saw several 30-60 yard runs by doing this to teams.

I assume you would be open to a job offer? Could you start tomorrow and how soon could you get to Athens?

Hearing Jim Chaney to be announced. Anyone else?

quote:

Owning an impressive résumé that includes time in the Big Ten, Southeastern Conference and National Football League, Chaney comes to Pittsburgh after serving as offensive coordinator at the University of Arkansas the past two seasons. Among the many standouts he has coached is quarterback Drew Brees, with whom he worked with while offensive coordinator at Purdue.
