Has Kelly been mentioned in any of these openings? He's likely on the way out in Philly and I couldn't imagine him staying in the league.

He's out of Philly for sure. Not sure if we'd ever take a shot at him. Thought I heard USCw taking a strong run at him to stick it to Oregon

He'd be hell at a state school with an endless supply of South Georgia Samoans,imo....baring a decent defensive staff.

To be fair, offenses in the Big 12 are more advanced compared to those here in the SEC and most of CFB. They score a lot and give up a lot. You can't stop it but you hope to contain it. GP is a great X's and O's type coach but doesn't have the talent to really compete with it. You give him a UGA recruiting base, with a Pruitt, shite... NC NEXT YEAR is a possibility.
As far as the spread... Everyone automatically thinks it's a pass happy offense, which in certain situations (based on talent evaluation) it is. UGA will have maybe Chubb, Micheal, Waley sp?, and Holyfield. You play to your strengths. Our strengths are our running game. Don't be so closed minded (not you JC) into thinking UGA will automatically throw the ball 50 times a game. Patterson will evaluate the talent, and put our talent in the best position to win.

That's wishful thinking, man. He's got a great thing at tcu and already makes a ton. I doubt he'd come, especially knowing our admin would do what was neccesarry to pull off such a coup
