to get Jon Gruden. This man is the mean spark of lightning that will put the fear in SEC teams. Before all of you go crazy, Gruden makes 5mil per year with espn and espn has made it very clear that they want him to stay. But, let's consider that CTG makes 3mil per year and CMR makes almost 4. We could get rid of CTG, Richt, and Bozo to have a legitimate shot at Gruden. Why would we exept anything less? We can't make a backwards move if we were to fire CMR. But the only person capable of getting UGA to where we need to be, just may well be Gruden. He would bring out the best in the players and give our players that mean swagger that we are supposed to be known for. Talk about the baddest, toughest, and hardest team in the SEC!! With all of our coordinators gone and Richt we will be able to name the price tag for Gruden. We have to be mean. We have to be tough. We have to intimidate every single opponent that we face!!!! No exceptions! Screw this good guy crap and let's crush some fricken faces and bring back the junkyard Dawgs!! Gruden is perfect for us and everybody knows it. He gave raider fans something to cheer for and Tampa fans. Put your emotions aside people and throw the kitchen sink at this man! Who else will compete against the freight train that is, Alabama?!!!

Richt has lost 3 games this year and you want to fire him? The program is fine. Injuries have been hurting us this year.

Enough with the Gruden talk. He is not coming. I like Richt and hope he stays for a long time. This was just not our year. I understand the frustration with Richt, but wake up. Gruden is not coming to UGA.

For the right price? We have one of the biggest Nike contracts in the country and the most overpaid coaches in the country. I agree that Richt has done ok, but he is not a hard nose, crush everybody type of guy. The reality is, if we do not find that mentality on the football field, we will fall by the wayside. In place of Richt, the only coaches I would except are, Gruden or Smart. Smart is a gamble anyways. Maybe Cower? We have to have that mean mean MF'r on the sidelines that will put the fear of God in Nick Satan. That is the only thing I will accept from now on. We are looked at as the big fat vaginas of the SEC and I'm tired of it. Bring back the junkyard dawg!!! In some way this is a complement to Richt as it would take someone on Gruden's level to feel good about getting rid of him!!

Maybe? You miss the point and are part of the problem with the culture at Georgia. We want to get away from the "bad guy" look. But, name one team that doesn't consider Bama the bad guy? They are disciplined and strike fear into every opponent. Why do we insist on mediocrity? We need to be the most hated team in the SEC and show the nation that we will not except defeat at any level. We have to make sound investments and change the culture at UGA. We have 10 million in coaches that we can throw at Gruden. Why would this not be a number one priority??? The man is a players coach puts fear into every team that he would play in the sec. He could and would recruit better and make Satan look like a little midget puppy bitch!!!!!!! Frick this culture. I'm tired of second place and am really tired of the way we coach our team!!!! The refs had a big say in the game today but the coaches have to never let it get to that point!! We have to make some changes boys and girls. Y'all have to decide if winning is more important than winning enough to keep your job. I think that we have to get the baddest MF'r we can find and completely revamp the program to the "come and get your arse kicked" type of team we used to be!!!!!!!

Indeed. I have no tolerance for a business that fails with unlimited resources. We have!!! Let's get a director with a pair of nuts larger than Tic-Tacs and put out some change to get whoever we want. Just how Bama did, and I believe that we could get someone better that Saban that would ignite this great program/business. No more excuses. These a-holes have lost their chance and deserve to be exonerated. No more Ticky Tack if we are going to win and not just win, put the fear of God in every MF team we play. We should be able to take Bama to the cleaners every time we play, anything less is absurd with our resources!!!!

I'm a big Gruden fan and he would be my top choice for coach. (Maybe Dungy too).
Why would he come UGA? Saban. Rivals for those two years as both coached two NFL teams in Florida and Gruden would love to put him down.

Gruden is the most overrated coach...maybe ever. I don't get why people are so fascinated with him. He won a Super Bowl with a team Tony Dungy built, and then ran it straight into the ground.
He would also be a horrible, horrible college coach because he has zero patience for the mistakes of young, inexperienced players. Particularly at the QB position. That is what did him in at Tampa. He'd pull some 36 year old veteran off the scrap heap before he'd draft a kid.
