Hightower at Bama destroyed a knee and played the next season.

His knee bent backwards? Or he tore an acl?

I am not a surgeon but I do have common sense. He needs to get paid for his skills if he can rather than risk it all and come back and hope to lead Uga to a frustrating 9-3 season.

Maybe he has pride? Maybe money isn't his number one priority? Couldn't blame him for leaving, but maybe he enjoys playing football here. Not trolling, btw.

Common sense should prevail over school pride. Being set for life is too much to risk.

But I would love it if he came back 100% and then went pro after a full healthy season. Just don't want him lattimored If he isn't all ready?

one of the biggest challenges of recovering from an injury is getting over the mental hurdle and not play with that moment or concern in the back of your mind. If he gets back to 100% at any point next season I'm sure he will play. Would be big for him to get over that.

Unsure that benefit outweighs the risk.

agreed, wouldn't blame him one bit if he didn't. I just really think he will if he gets back to full strength.
