I heard yesterday it was between him and Buster Faulkner. Id hate to see him go but I hope he’s a successful HC.

Only coach left from Kirby's first year I believe. Hope he knocks it out of the park. He's come a long way from being a thorn in richts side at carver Columbus.

Glad we had him as long as we did. I felt we was on borrowed time with him anyway. Much deserved and wish him the best.

Damn good coach.
It would suck losing McGee and McClendon in the same offseason.
Both coaches "get it" in terms of recruiting.

He has done a hell of a job. I always wondered why he had not gotten a shot at OC or head coach. Good for him.

McGee is the Assistant Head Coach and basically the man in charge when Kirby's on vacation or away from Butts-Mehre. Will be interesting to see who Kirby chooses amongst the staff as his first lieutenant.
