INteresting to scan through the rosters and see just how many players from Georgia are sprinkled throughout the SEC rosters.......
Sidenote: the yankee-count is pretty low for UGA this season. Just 1 from Indiana, and a couple from Maryland. Zero New-Englanders, which is refreshing.
Sidenote 2: Didn't count them, but I'm pretty sure there are more Texans on miZzzouri's team than actual native milk toasts. Pathetic.

The state is too plain to develop talented humans

Not surprising. Worked with a native milktoast and missouri (not "Mizzou" because that's a made up word) alum and the guy was way more interested in Cardinal baseball than Missouri athletics. Didn't even like Missouri baseball - something about the laces on the ball being different than MLB which somehow detracted from the sport. What a tool.

To be fair I watch the braves every night I'm free and I haven't watched a UGA baseball game since college

Yeah but you don't like the braves more than Georgia football. I hope.

Oh for sure. Ill skip weddings if we have a big game and they're not a really close friend or family.
Braves are what I watch if I'm home with no plans

Georgia and New York are both far superior states than Missouri. I've lived in this state for the vast majority of my life and am currently in its borders. Opportunity came to see a different part of the country and I took it.
Main point was college baseball is more of a bore to me than you consider soccer to be. Don't know what my temporary situation has to do with it.

I knew Vad Lee left Tech. But, I didn't know that Vad Lee left Tech to go to fricking James Madison. Holy shite...............
CPJ vs Vad. I was really hoping Vad Lee would win that one, but he pussed out & left. We are now in lock down mode & you will only see 3yds 3yds 3yds 4yds, (repeat) And we will win that way.

Tech's gotten more love than I anticipated this offseason, so I have to ask: What do you think about your squad this year?
There was a point in time where I knew a lot about both Tech and UT and kept up with them often - I used to read both the CTFP and AJC religiously, which sparked further research. The interest in both teams dwindled over the years, so I legitimately don't know as much as I used to. You were a good quarter - even a good possession - away from beating both UGA and OM last year.
Just curious

Gonna platoon quarterbacks, imo. A guy that is a cross b/w Tevin Washington & Josh Nesbitt but not as good as either, but not half bad at running the offense & then another guy that is more of a playmaker type that we are hoping takes over the starting role but prolly will not... DeAndre Smelter could be dangerous.. I think they'll throw more to the A-backs & Paul Johnson has been running the hurry-up .. Defense has Gotsis & Quayshawn Nealy and prolly a better secondary that people would want to believe.. maybe they'll keep up the decent play from last year... Tech will upset someone and lose some others & I figure 7 to 8 wins again, and I'm hoping for 8
Biggest weakness: pass protection
Biggest strength: linebacker

From Lindy's "Hot Seat Coaches" section...........
#7 Paul Johnson - "blah blah blah blah blah.........whose buyout stands at $7.5 million"

Tech will go 7-5 in the regular season due to an absurdly easy schedule then proceed to lose their bowl game.
Same as it ever was. Same as it ever was.
