Isn't Romney the personification of the republican establishment that was overwhelmingly rejected by Trump and Cruz supporters in the primary? Or did I dream that?

He didn't have much of a chance against a sitting president with his weak at best conservative platform.

Economy was weak and BHO's foreign policy was a disaster at the time.On the heels of Benghazi and the Arab Spring. He was ripe for the picking and Romney ran a limp wristed "Presidential" campaign and NEVER fought back vs BHO or his minions in the press.

As bad as Obama's approval rating was, it's still an uphill battle against a sitting president.

And yea, I agree that he didn't run a very good campaign. He had one debate where he came out swinging and that was it. That was the most fight we saw from the guy.

He would beat Hillary though.

You give the media too much credit. They get weaker by the day.

Like it or not, they still drive the narrative in this country.

He couldn't win or lose to Hillary. It would be impossible. That's the racket the globalist establishment had going. They picked the candidates for each party so that they couldn't lose either way. If Hillary lost to Romney/Jeb/etc, they win. If Romney/Jeb/etc lost to Hillary, they win. You see?

It makes sense that they would be upset to lose this racket, but it doesn't make sense for a tax-paying american citizen to be upset that it's gone.

Unless, you have stockholm syndrome or are just really dumb.

Calls of white racism and biggotry are just leftist tactics meant to shut down debate.

Based upon your bigoted actions in this thread, you have proven yourself to be very good at leftist tactics. That says a lot about you.

If you dislike idiots is that being a bigot? Or is it just a race, gender thing only?

If he loses, all the supposed gains you talk about disappear, and the establishment machine rolls on.

It's not good to see you copying Jeffersons leftist strategies of avoiding the topic.

The above remains true with Trump vs Hillary. The left thought Obama would be anti-establishment. Wrong. He was a puppet. The right thinks Trump will be anti-establishment. Wrong again. If Trump is elected it will same song different verse.

How can we know that Trump is owned and controlled? Well, the strings are there to be seen by all but the blind. The establishment has Trump by the balls because he, and his family, are facing multiple felony fraud investigations. There is a $259M tax fraud investigation in progress and also an investigation of Trump University. Trump, like Hillary, has no choice but to do as he is told.
