Doesn't CBS have to decide before the Bama-OM game what time they want to show this one?
Usually games are set 2 weeks out but there's a couple times per year they can exercise a 6-day option and wait til Saturday's games to decide what they want to show the following weekend.

When we played there in 2006 it was a 9pm kickoff. We got there about 7am that morning and partied all day (to be honest the grove is highly overrated) and then somehow, someway drove back to gwinnett after it was over. That was not smart, or fun. I think I got to bed at like 6am Sunday.
Never again.
Never again.

On a Georgia sports board, all game times are ET unless denoted by CT (commie time)
For people watching from home, i guess. For people who actually go to away games and want to know how much time they'll have to drink and start fights before kickoff, it makes more sense to deal in real time to me.

Here's the SEC lineup for that week:
South Carolina at UK
Delaware St at Missouri
LSU at Auburn
Arkansas at A&M
Florida at Tennessee
UGA at Ole Miss
Miss St at UMass (yes, you read that right)
Vandy at WKU
Missouri, Miss St, and Vandy will eat up most all of the early slots. Aside from UF/UT, we'll be the only matchup between top 25 teams, so I would pretty much bank on a night time game. Honestly night time on the road kind of sucks, especially if we're going to counting on quality minutes from Eason in his first road game.

Yep. I'm dumb.
Edit: I'm sticking to my guns because Missouri isn't a real SEC team, anyway.

Alright, I've crunched the numbers for tailgate planning purposes...
If ole miss loses to alabama:
11am kick - 31% chance
6pm kick - 69% chance
If ole miss beats alabama:
11am kick - 0.0% chance
2:30pm kick - 49% chance
6pm kick - 51% chance
If ole miss loses to alabama and ut loses to vermont:
11am kick - o.0% chance
2:30pm kick - 81% chance
6pm kick - 19% chance
Go rebels and vermont.

Do you have tickets?
I'm scared of what I'm gonna have to pay if they beat Bama. Although I'd rather play them off a big win than an 1-2 start with two top 5 losses

why not just go ahead and get them now?
Although I guess if they lose to bama the prices will drop even more.

I've got tickets already. Going over on thursday. Can't wait. Do you know if they have the ubers in oxford?
Posted on 9/8/16 at 12:28 pm to WG_Dawg
Cheapest pair is like 150ea on stubhub and I'm stubborn and think I can do better.
Our Airbnb host said they have uber although I'm sure it's busy with a high surcharge on game weekend. But beats a DUI for sure

I'd be very surprised if they didn't have them.

Probably so. Remember face on these tix is $90 so you're going to be looking at a relatively high price regardless of what happens. I sold an extra last weekend for $120 so I'm sure there are some out there less than $150.
