That was as well oiled and unstoppable an offensive machine as I think I've ever seen at UGA. It's the one time I just knew we'd won a big game by the 2nd qtr because they weren't going to stop our offense. Period. We damn near scored every time we had the ball

Chubb was awesome on that last drive in the first half. He would have scored on one run but he made a cut right into a tackle. He knew it too because you could see it in his reaction after the play. Great game by him and all of the offense.

Had a great time back in Athens this weekend, but I was curious to know what those who went back thought about the tailgating scene. I didnt graduate too long ago, but I just remember the scene being more "crowded" for lack of a better word. In some areas, it seemed almost subdued. In particularly in North Campus. I know there have been some rule changes, but I'd hate for our GameDay scene to fizzle out. Where are the areas that the big tailgates are nowadays?

Observations.
17 deep/5 lines at the chicken wire concession stands. No plastic caps for drinks, but they will sell you a stainless steel hot chocolate mug.
What used to be concession stands manned by church groups, who would dispense "ice" drinks are now manned by...I really don't know.
They have coolers behind them with plastic bottles of Coke products. No ice. No lines.
300 level south side entrance gates. 2.
Vendors selling concessions in the stands. 0.
Armed, contracted GBI police officers, University police, Georgia State University police...all over the place. I told one who was standing in my line of sight...I wanted to watch the game..."you need to move". He haughtily replied "Do you want to go to jail"? Really?
Number of police officers directing traffic after the game at the intersection of Lumpkin and Milledge. 0.
Number of police officers assigned to "sniff cups" and issue tickets for alcohol possesion on a public sidewalk on Lumpkin by the BP. 2.
BTW, if you can cross the street, no problem. Unfortunate for those that can't afford a UGA parking permit. Visitors beware.

telling a cop "you need to move" isn't the best idea.
you're lucky he warned you, instead of taking you down

I encountered nothing but awesomeness from the police on Saturday.
