Looks like he is taking on a pseudo-coaching, leadership position? Could be a really good thing with all of the young receivers on the team.

I heard that he was bouncing around pretty good. Speculation that maybe he has a mental thing going on about not wanting to get hurt again?

Jake Rowe observation..

quote:

The senior receiver didn’t appear to be limping at all and he was bouncing around pretty well although his knee was in a wrap. I’m not sure what’s going on there, but judging by the way he is moving around and how he was in good spirits, getting back on the field might be more of a mental obstacle for Scott-Wesley.

seriously, you want him to risk crippliong disability so you can be entertained a little bit.

if he's my kid I'm telling him it's ok to move on..

Looks to me like he may have made a decision to hang it up for the sake of his health. Can't blame him, chronic knee pain is no joke.

I think he could make a difference as an extra coach for all the younger guys we have at the position. Still a shame though, I was excited to see him play again.

I hate it for him. It happens to a lot of players though..I just hope he recovers and takes care of business in the classroom.

I edit my post so as not to offend you with my humor. And at no point did I ever wish injury to JSW or any UGA player.

I guess I should do like most of you and hide behind an alter to post a negative comment.

We know what you said, we know what you meant. You now said it again. Dude has wrecked his knee 3 times...if he doesn't have the mind to get back out there for fear of a more severe injury, it's perfectly understandable. You are a POS poster and would be best suited not ever even posting again.

It wasn't funny. It was shaming a kid who has chronic knee issues as if he doesn't want to be out there.

Honestly, frick off.

Honestly I think given his last surgery was orthoscopic they may have taken too much of his cartilage from his knee which can indeed cause terrible pain when high impact occurs.

Meanwhile, Tramel Terry works out with the 3rd team defense.

Everyone is forgetting that JSW was they guy who got suspended while on "injury reserve" and tweeting about taking the handicap shuttle downtown to drink (underage at the time). Failed weed test. After healthy enough to play, was suspended another 4 games.

It wouldn't surprise me if the real reason he may never play is he just got another big suspension and he said frick it, why keep working out and putting myself through all this bullshite if I'm going to miss half the season anyway.
