Why the frick do people insist on acting like the coaching world is infested with jimbos ,holgersons ,petrinos etc. High character coaches are not the exception. most of these guys get into coaching because they love the game and are leaders of men. assuming wed fall into the clutches of some immoral egomaniac is gay as hell.nobody here has a clue what coaches across the country would have their agents make a call if it became known the AD was looking. Nobody. all the speculation about who would and wouldn't show interest is just dumb

You get into coaching because you love the game or because you got fired from your first job by punching the Osmose guy at a Waffle House.
You stay in coaching because you can recruit well or you can coach X's and Os. Most of the best HCs are good recruiters or they surround themselves with good recruiters. It is a slimy business.
