Gtown is gone too. From what Chris and Gtown told me they sent in as their reinstatement request I think we're pissing in the wind to get them back.

if gtown has been banned this long for flood comments I imagine that was a chicken decision. I don't think "our" admins would care that much.

Amazingly enough, I never was banned from the old Rant. The Vent had a running blacklist on me, though, and so did the Run.

I can delete threads, posts, add/remove people, sticky, anchor, hide posts, etc. I can't remove anyone's posting privileges

Does chicken monitor this and all other boards? Does he have "super admins" that have the power in his stead?
The overall scope and size of this website would suggest so.

Yeah he has site admins. The exact number I don't know. They can suspend posters and all that jazz. They can send PMs as well. Chicken and his brother own the site and are the only ones that can alter the site. So far, they're the only two that can add posters (besides the board admins). The site admins can't.

I'd bet that Jeff is their number one customer.
I'd probably just add a block user functionality to user preferences and let folk self regulate. But some people need the butthurt.
