Yeah I just switched over to that game for a second and saw nothing but terrible football.

Sadly, I agree with you. I think they SHOULD, because hes still dealing with the mess Mack left but, its a win now state, and he isn't winning now. I don't think the players left by Brown are buying in, and the young guys aren't there yet.

I'm wondering if it's his fault. I'm sure you're right and he's done, but were they supposed to be good?

It's really not his fault as DH pointed out above, but I'm sure Texas fans were looking for improvement this year and it's just not there.

I also think he has had to deal with a divided University administration, as well as the boosters trying to put their noses into the coaching bidness.

pride goes before a fall -- remember Texas and their personal TV network and their unwillingness to keep the Southwest Conference alive? I hope they never win a game again.

By the way, Georgia beat them in the '84 Cotton Bowl 10-9 (didn't Lassiter complete only one pass that game?). All Texas had to do was win and they had the national championship.
