Unless Mason wins a game for us he'll be another Buck.

I do think that Mason's passing has opened up the run game the last 2 weeks. Mizzou was keying on Chubb so bad he was getting hit a few yards behind the line last week until Mason started spreading the ball around well. And against Arkansas, Chubb certainly stole the show (deservedly so) but it's impossible to ignore the effect of Mason nailing those throws to open the game. And he hit a few more as it went on too.

Agreed, but he needs to have a winning drive or special game for me to consider him something else.

Yea I agree. Let's hope the running game keeps bulldozing along and it doesn't come down to needing that. Not saying he couldn't do it but it may take a few years off my life

ok, there ya go.

I'm one that can look at things rationally and logically. Other people like yourself don't look at logic and instead point to silly phrases like "richt gonna richt" instead. Seems like a dumbass way to go through life.

Nah, one of Georgia's best QBs but not one of my favorites

02- lost, but they had a guy at QB who legit shoudlv'e won the heisman the year before and still had a pretty damn good team

We lost that game because Terrence Edwards dropped that pass late in the game. Still not over that one.

05- technically, sorta..but we didn't have our best player. Without him we arguably weren't better than them. We still made it a game

We lost that game because Bobo was calling QB draws and sweeps designed for DJ that Joe. T. didn't have the wheels to pull off.

No, that's not why we lost. Even if he had caught it there's no guarantee he scores, and even if he does score there's no guarantee we win (we were down 7 at the time). We lost because of a multitude of reasons.

We didn't really call many QB sneaks with DJ. It's the opposite actually, we designed those plays specifically FOR joe t because he was an average QB that we didn't trust to throw the ball, who had to come in with 1 week's game prep.

Dude....Shock had plenty of designed run plays....He ran for over 400 yards in '05 if I recall.

Starting at 0:30 he has two run plays on that opening drive vs. Boise. He is not scrambling. These are designed QB draws. Bobo had T. running those plays on 3rd and long against UF. No way he had the wheels to pull those plays off and that contributed greatly to the loss that year.

can you show me where I've supported him? Hell in teh post above I specifically said he was a bad QB who can't throw. How does that constitute support?

and? Shockley was definitley a passer first that we occasionally ran with bc he could. And the first play you mentioned was a read option at that, not like it was a specific run play.

Joe T ran 6 times in the florida game. That's a lot of runs for a QB like joe t. We did that because we had no confidence in him as a passer.

I gotcha. I mean it's not really JT's fault though, he did the best he could. He just wasn't very talented and should never have been the starting QB for UGA. He kinda got tossed into a bad situation in 05 and he only started in 06 because Blake Barnes turned out to be a mega dud.
