This is the place. Go to the one in midtown. I never had the beef, but all other meat is very good, sides are very good and sauce is very good save for the hot tomato based sauce, stay away from that. Highly recommended. I used to see Calipari there all the time. Actually a good guy, will talk to miscreants like me out of the blue.

I've eaten at Central once. Just had time for a quick lunch and didn't get to get after it properly so I can't really give an informed opinion. Their pulled pork sandwich was decent.

Rendezvous ribs, on the other hand, are most very memorable. Maybe just because the dry rib thing is kind of unique to me. i know its kind of touristy but so what. They're awesome.

There was a BBQ joint in Athens a long time ago called "Spring House" that served their ribs dry. They were righteous too.

I like the wet ribs more....and i think their banana pudding is amazing. It was also next door to my house when i was in grade school, so I went all the time haha
