I wished Missouri and Texas A&M played earlier in the day. Think about how crazy that place would be if Mizzou loses and we have the East in our grasps by the time we kick off!

A lot of noise on the SECrant about MSU still going to the playoff over UGA in the event UGA upsets them in the SECCG. Does anyone else think this is outside the realm of possibility? There is no way the committee puts that plan into action in the first year of the playoff.

Would be hard to imagine after how they've said they value the conference championship. That doesn't necessarily mean UGA would go either though.

What'll really test them is if TCU and Baylor both win out. Baylor would win the conference based on the head to head but they already have TCU at #4.

I say between Baylor and TCU, only one will go. There is no way they will let Moo St in over us if we just beat them in the SECCG if they're still undefeated and we have a legitimate argument to get the #4 spot.

Oh yea I definitely agree that only one of Baylor and TCU would go.

It will just be interesting if both teams win out since they said how much they value conference championships. TCU presumably won't drop and will get in over Baylor (who will win the Big XII if they win out).

yes and no

it would be a split conference championship, like we used to have in the SEC

TCU gets the playoff based on their better resume

I think that a 2 loss UGA SEC champ would jump Baylor

OR a 1 loss FSU (go Gators - God I just puked a little)

we are not done or out yet - we need help, but if we beat Aubie, we are in the top 10 next Tuesday

Technically you're right, but it would be a complete disgrace to put TCU in over Baylor if they have identical records at the end of the season.

Moo State will be on the phone with shitty B1G teams by the end of the week in the hope they can put together another run like this in the next 20 years...

Guess it wouldn't be the worst meltdown Waco has ever seen.

First thing on the resume is a head to head matchup. Period.

I just don't believe the committee will put a 1 loss non conf champ in over a 1 loss conf champ. you really can't explain it in the eyes and views of 80% of the country.

I think our best chance at this time is win out, hope bam a wins against state and auburn beats bama. we give state their 2nd loss in ccg ( this is possible if not probable, maybe)

would love to see FSU fall to U this weekend ( 40% chance ) and then again to UF ( which I have said since August I think happens) this opens a spot for a 2 loss champ. because the acc is probably done at that point.

other options:
AZ knocking off ASU and then ASU beating Oregon... very doubtful
Baylor maybe loses to KSU, but TCU aint losing.
Wisky/ Neb beating OSU, but that still leaves a big10 team with 1 loss , so not sure that helps.

really it comes down to win out and hope FSU loses.
