I hear guys bitching about being married but really how great is being single? I have been married 23 years and I get laid at least 3 times a week....and I don't have to go to movies I hate or pretend to be interested in conversations that bore the piss out of me like single guys do. It is great!, On top of this my laundry is more or less taken care of, I eat pretty well and mybest friend is in bed with me ever night. It beats the hell out of dating and getting laid in bars!!! And ths isn't even mentioning being a dad....wait until a 2 year old runs to you when something scares them or they tell you they love you for no reason......I wouldn't be single again for the world!!!

I don't think I am a horrible wife. We have things we do together and things we do separately. Football season is nearing and that is something we enjoy together. We have our moments. I have friends that have to stay up one another's asses 24/7. Heck no.

Went with her family out on the beach to take family pictures, had a "message in a bottle" planted in the sand with a note inside asking her the question. When she saw the bottle, finally, as she was reading it I was behind her on one knee and her family was taking pics/videos. It was fun and a perfect night in Destin.

Me neither! In fact, soon as I get home from work I ask, "we doin' it tonight?" The answer tells me right there if there's any reason to get the kids to bed early or plan for going out. No spending all day trying to earn my way in.

Congrats, CBiz! Ms. Vox and myself have been engaged for over 2 years (after being together for nearly 6), with the plans FINALLY coming together for a wedding this Nov. 1st. We're the worst engaged couple ever. She's not the typical 0 to Bridezilla girl, and we refuse to get married on a game day, so our venue shopping has consisted of one question:
"Are you available for an evening wedding on Sat. Sept 14, or Sat. Oct. 26th of this year?"
We found a church she and her mom loved, and the venue we want for the reception is available on the Fridays before each (And is $5k cheaper than Saturday), so it looks like we might be tying the knot the day before the WLOCP.

Dude....No matter how much ya'll love one another don't get married in November...especially early November....I know it seems like a good idea to plan around this years schedule but if your anniversary is November 1 there are gonna be years when your anniversary will have to take a back seat to the WLOCP.....and that is a bad idea.....if you have to get married around that time of year because she doesn't want the baby bump obvious in the pictures do everything possible to wait until Mid-December, allowing for enough time to get through the SECCG and before the third tier bowl games start up. Trust me you don't want trouble with scheduling the rest of your life!!!
