I consider myself to be somewhere in the middle of the Kirby argument

There is no defense for Kirby's preparation or game planning for this game. Or why his ST haven't improved one iota in two months.

I'm by no means saying fire the man, but he gets 80% of the blame today. The only defense you can have is to say "he'll better in the future". Which, while potentially true, helps zero today.

Let the Richters burn the town today. There is nothing to say to them.

frick Kirby. He lost to a bad Vanderbilt squad o homecoming. He gets to eat this completely.

Only question is how he reacts: more stay the course bullshite we got fed by Richt or does he actually react to what's obviously not working?

This team lacks any apparent drive, identity, or willingness to buy into this program.

I'm faaaaar from being a Richter but this season goes beyond just depth issues etc. Anyone not leveling a decent amount of blame on the coaching is being dishonest.

I said exactly this after the Ole Miss debacle and you would've thought I had killed Uga X.

I agree with every post in this thread and I'm pro-Kirby, still.

Yeah. I'm a Kirby supporter and still look for him to do great things, but today was not a well coached game.

Wonder if we have the wrong combination of personalities, vision, etc. on the coaching staff. If the top doesn't gel, it's definitely going to filter down to the players.

What if Georgia and Miami do end up playing each other in a bowl.....and then Kirby pulls a "Kirby" and Richt pulls a "Richt"?

What would that look like?

Was thinking about this myself. When your entire pitch is, "I coached at Bama, I know how to win championships." How much motivation is there as a player in that system when at best you're playing for the Toilet Bowl in Memphis?

It's been a long time since I strapped on a pair of cleats but I like to think all players get up for a game day. Today made me question that and just maybe they're beginning to question CKS's system.

Disagree. Rodrigo looked much better. I think we now have a viable kicker. The return game, however?

That could be a lot of things. Our ST coach is bad.....or maybe he is not being given enough time in practice. It's really hard to say. I would guess, though, not enough practice time is being given since they look pretty disorganized out there.

Dude....the "Richters" don't bring Mark Richt up. The Richt haters do.
