Thankfully dropping classes is as easy as clicking a button on the Athena website now

But no I've just been watching all my classes within the past week get smaller and smaller from all the drops

Hes not coming to LSU.
First off I would be suprised UGA let him transfer to a team they will play. Plus we have Brennan as a Freshman who is the heir apparent to Etling.

Also if he goes anywhere it will be to the Big 12 or the Pac 12. My opinion.
I see Okie State, Oklahoma or USC, UCLA in his future.

Although we did quite well getting a UGA QB cast off. Mettsiah was the best QB we have had in many years.

He could also transfer to Miami. I'm sure CMR would love to have his recruit down there with him.

Can anyone point to an example of another player (high profile or otherwise) who has done something like that? Dropping all classes, Leaving mid season, to save a year of having to sit out?

They are pretty homerish, but honestly, it was just one of the possibilities they tossed out there.

Apparently, Alabama had 2 QB’s leave mid season last year who are both playing this season...pretty sure one of them is playing at FBS level.

The trick is apparently to withdraw before the deadline and immediately be enrolled at the new school and taking classes this semester.

They are Tyler and Curtis...not complete idiots, but definitely homers. They are pretty entertaining in that “ let’s just both keep talking at the same time until one of us says something the other will shut up and listen to” kinda way.

Ha. They understand football pretty well.

They are not very trained in the art of podcasts or radio (getting better. Much better than a year ago).

I can't confirm their knowledge on ncaa rules and such. But they appear to have pretty good insight. I wasn't aware of the Bama situation.

Gotcha. Looks like Eason would have to appeal to NCAA to start game 1 rather than a full year after leaving. Not sure how Barnett won his.

Yea, and that's out of conference so shouldn't be an issue like it would be if he wanted to go to another SEC school.

Why do we keep beating this dead horse. Until HE says something, who cares. Word on the street is he likes to drink beer and chase women like a lot of 19 year olds. What better place to do that than Athens. Maybe he's happy here.

I only brought it here because it seemed like a new angle on an old subject and I wondered what the viability of this theory was.

For the record, I am an Eason fan and I want to see him do well. Here if possible, but anywhere he can if it’s not here.

Blake Barnett did it last year. Got waiver so he didn't miss first four games of this year.

We need Eason for this year. I hope he doesn't read this board. He went from the GOAT to GTFO in 7 games.

Barnett should try it again. He was 2 for 3 for 28 yards in the Az State opener and hasn't played since.

I would say Tyler is getting much better, but Curtis continues to just burst in over the top of what Tyler is saying whenever a stray thought comes to his mind. To his credit, Tyler has started pausing mid-sentence to let Curtis ramble...I think he is trying to make it more professional sounding and I also think he is probably a pretty nice guy and doesn’t want to just tell Curtis to shut the hell up and help make the podcast a better production. Either that, or Curtis is just much bigger and stronger and Tyler is afraid of getting his arse beat if he tries to talk Curtis down. I don’t think that’s it though...they both sound like skinny, anemic former skaters to me.
