Defense, a decent passing game, and running backs good enough to improvise is what we have right now. When a team exposes this, we could be in trouble.

Agree. Mississippi State has the front seven to take away the running game unless the UGA OL plays much better than up to this point. I fear disappointment may be the order of the day on Saturday.

Do we go with our tight ends and fullbacks against their 5-2? Do we spread the field and challenge them in their nickel?

Keep in mind Chubb is back and it was a Grantham coached defense that he ran all over his freshman year against Louisville in the bowl game. So this could be a really good game for us. I think LSU is just not a good team this year, but it has created the right amount of hype for State; which lines up nicely for us at home.

He's as capable or more than Wimbush.

Wimbush is faster, Fitzgerald is more powerful while still decently fast.

Us containing the run will be the determining factor in the game. LSU and Auburn were way overrated going into this year. If we win Saturday, we're the second best team in the SEC. Doing that with a true freshman QB should shut some of the Kirby critics up for an hour or two.
