We have a top ten offense. Who is going to come coach here if an OC that has a season like this is fired for one poor game?

I mean I hear you and I was actually annoyed we let Buster go when Monken couldn’t make up his damn mind. Bobo wasn’t great today. That said, idk how Buster or Monken or whoever could have called a much better game given the situation. Multiple impact guys going nowhere close to 100%. Offensive line not exactly paving lanes. A QB who is only functionally mobile, not at all dynamic. And credit to Bama as well, they have a really good defense.

Bobo looked lost at times when he couldn't run the ball. Bowers and McKonkey seemed like they were at 75%. There just wasn't a lot of creativity. At the end Beck came through when he had to start gun slinging but we were out of time. I mean Kirby's MO is to establish the lead into the 3rd quarter and then grind the game out.

It wasn't necessarily a poor game called by Bobo. Ladd couldn't cut and separate like usual and Brock had to go rest for 3 or 4 plays after each play. Starting LB out and 3 or 4 freshmen on the field on defense all night.
Couldn't set the edge and contain Milroe or put any pressure on him. None of this is on Bobo. His offense still kept us within 3 at the end and we had no on-side kick plan. Not on Bobo.

One thing about Bobo. It seems he would be content to just stay in Athens. I don't think he is high on the coaching candidates after his debacle at CSU. Hopefully he keeps adding good coaching talent around him. Obviously he did great in the regular season but kind of our achilles heel is our offense can go stagnant when the other team takes away the run.

Because they got outplayed. We have had trouble setting the edge all season and it finally bit us in the arse.
