Just saw his "Storied" episode on SECN and it reminded me that's he's said multiple times that he could go back to the NFL today and compete... Does anyone think that's legit or is he just being a little big headed? Either way, I'd love to see him back in pads again

He is a beast but I believe he is past his prime to be going up against those young guys. However if anyone could do it I think it would be Hershel Walker.

I could only see him as a blocking back or backup H-back who could go out for a flare pass or block on run plays. Doubt he could play more than a series without needing to rest the legs.

Why wouldn't he just try to be a TE? You don't have to be in top physical shape (not that his shape is a problem)and your athleticism is still your biggest asset.

Unfortunately I think he's well past being able to. And even sadder than that I think his psychological issues have more to do with him saying he wants to than any actually being able to.

Speaking of Herschel...we could argue on the SEC rant about which one is better him or Bo but I'm wondering what they've said about each other when asked that question. Anyone know?

The amount of times Herschel's name has been misspelled in this thread is crazy.

These millennials who weren't alive when Herschel was playing have no respect for the GOAT. It's quite sad.

Hershal could probably compete but only a few plays a game. One thing is for sure and that is that Herchel is a freak of nature.
