It's not even worth asking his opinion. He's probably one of those morons that thinks we should've fired him after 2006.
Oh, it's worth it, trust me. Just sit back and watch the webberNet gold.

Which begs the question...WTF is CMR still HC at UGA for? Sorry guys, I like CMR as a person, but he is NOT a very good FB coach...at least not to me.
So bad football coaches win multiple conference titles and have a 126-45 career record?

Yeah, not sure what makes him a bad (or not a good) coach in the minds of some here. He's a great recruiter and mentor for the team and has a proven record of winning. The one thing he really is missing is a national championship, but those things aren't easy to come by. It's tough when you coach in arguably the best conference in the nation against teams who are in the top 5 (if not the #1 or #2) year after year after year. The competition is unreal and only one team can win it.
The biggest fault I can see with CMR is that he appears to be very hands-off and lets the OC and DC take care of the players. That's good and bad. It's good when the coordinator knows what they are doing and are disciplining and developing the players. It sucks when the coordinator isn't (apparently) doing their jobs and their unit(s) aren't performing.
If CMR stepped in sooner when on-field issues popped up, that would be a big improvement, but he delegates to his staff and gives them too much rope to hang themselves with, IMO.

Of course, during his tenure, teams in the conference have won 8 national titles (and played for 2 others, though the Bama/LSU game wouldn't have changed the win total), including a stretch of 7 in a row. Yes, that shows that it's a competitive conference. It also shows that Richt isn't exactly an ace coach IN the conference.

And here is my reponse to those people. And no I'm not playing the 'we coulda woulda shoulda what if' game, I'm simply using it as an example.
Imagine if we complete the pass to malcolm and we win the SEC and win the national title over notre dame. That as 1 single play call that would've taken up 5 seconds of clock. We would have 3 SEC titles and a natty, compared to 2 SEC titles and 0 nattys. But how would Richt be different? Would anything else he's done be any different? Would his playcalling or decision making suddenly change? Would he forget how to coach, or learn a ton of new info about coaching?
No, of course not. That 5 seconds of game clock is the difference between people saying "richt just can't win it all, fire him", and "he's our savior, keep him forever". Nothing about him personally or as a coach is any different. It's completely illogical for there to be such a massive, sweeping change of opinion on a 13 year career based on the outcome of 5 seconds.
