not that I have seen because the ball carrier is usually looking for space and then runs to the hole or around the end based on what the defense gives you. The only time I think UGA has thrown a pass out of the formation was when Gurley hit Blazevich down the middle last year.

Peter's point is that it is always a threat, even if we haven't yet made any attempt to look for receivers. The defense has to keep it in the back of their mind. As others have said...I would bet that we see a pass before the year is up.

I know it is always a threat, but I don't think we throw it because shittenhoser doesn't like to take chances.

It's obviously working as is but would really be fun to watch if we had somebody who could occasionally throw it back there. I bet with all that action behind the LOS you could have a field day throwing to the TE.

Of course...the way we're doing it now we do have Lambert wide as a deep threat...

Frankly, I would like to see us recruiting duel-threat QB's like Deshawn Watson at which point we would potentially be running the Wild Dawg on every down.....

I think Sony breaking his hand probably put those plans on hold.

I want to say Stafford almost died running that play against Tennessee.

I don't remember it ever being sniffed out,but a dead QB could easily be the result.

Murray got clobbered when he ran it in the 2012 Ole Miss game but it was after he had already thrown the pass that Marlon Brown took to the house.
