Ill be honest...I don't understand how ADGM has a leg to stand on here. If his boss AND a big money booster want one thing and he wants another...why doesn't his boss just tell him to stand the frick down or get the frick out of Athens? Seems like it should literally be that easy.

Adgm is a lame duck who will either facilitate all of the coach/coordinator positions or go down with the great ShipRicht.

We are all seeing how things work in Athens, and why we are the last ones to get an IPF.

Jesus Christ it's just dean being dean and preaching his same doom and gloom bullshite.

Meanwhile Saban is brought to tears damn near eulogizing smart. Which one do you think knows what's really up?

The way I see it:

McGarrity is happy to coast along with Richt until retirement.

Pruitt arrives and finds everything's too huggy-wuggy in the program. Begins to get vocal about it. Probably cusses out McG.

The big $$ donors get wind about time the season goes to shite.

McG tries to convince them Pruitt is just a loose cannon.

Bauta starts at the WLOCP with predictable results. WTF? $$ guys start listening to Pruitt.

They tell McG CMR must go. Got a replacement in mind?
McG comes up with Merlins.

$$ guys gag and say "It WILL be Smart. Make it happen".

McG plots to get the guy who got him in this mess - Pruitt. Some $$ boosters are pro McG; some are not. Compromise: You get Smart but without Pruitt.

Smart is told. Says no prob; pretty sure can get Muschamp. Whoops. USCe wants him.

Now Smart pitted against McG over Pruitt (and Cochran). Who wins the battle, and gets the booster support determines whether the program actually changes for the better.

Regardless, ADGM has "cleverly" guided KS into a position of real strength if they are still negotiating. I'm talking Superman strength.

If the deal tanks KS goes back to being a high paid assistant coach and #1 on the next asst. to be a head coach list. Georgia, however, turns into the Hindenburg.

KS should be able to write his own ticket in full at this point. And his agent (Sexton) will certainly know how to work it.

Maybe one you boys down there in Athens needs to plant a drunk CO-ED in ADGM's car, and just for effect some red panties hanging on the rear view mirror.

Seriously? Who DIDN'T see that coming? I mean, if that was unexpected, then somebody isn't doing their homework.

Sounds to me like Pruitt played the Booster game better than Richt... ADs like coaches who don't play that game too well... Gives them a lot more power.
