We had two girls fall off the beam (not shocking) and were down by .9 (a lot in gymnastics) as we went to the floor and UF went to the beam.
We came out with a 9.875, a 9.9 and three 9.95s, then another 9.9.
Hopefully this gives us a little momentum going forward.

A 196.400 is not a good score. The Dogs are lucky Florida sucked tonight.

It's not good, but it is good enough for the 6th best average in the NCAA (and raising our score). We sucked on beam again, but we killed it on floor. Be happy for once instead of complaining.

5 of the 6 girls had career best scores on the floor. We needed a .9850 to win on the final routine....she stepped out (.1 deduction) and still scored a .990 to win it

Awesome! Weren't we just talking about how much they sucked and how the program was collapsing? They're ranked in the top 10 and just beat #1

Definitely a nice win. They gotta figure out their woes on beam... at this point it seems more mental than anything else. Get those girls a sports shrink, asap.
