Thanks. 2-4 weeks seems optimistic to me.

If we lose to Vanderbilt, even without Gurley and a couple of the key receivers out, the national championship talk was definitely unwarranted and probably the SEC aspirations, too.
The secondary can't just keep not improving, right? They have to start getting better sometime...maybe this will be the game.
Offense can still be effective if we include Lynch and Rome in the plans and if Rumph can come in and have an impact, so Conley isn't the only scary receiver out there for us...

Holy shite...finally someone gave me access.
How bad is Gurley's ankle? Usually a sprain is alright after a couple of weeks of rest. It's probably going to bother him all year regardless, but I kind of assumed he would have been back by now.

High ankle sprain during LSU game, 3 weeks ago. He's been "day to day" for the last week. The hope is clearly for him to be at 100% by Florida, which is another 2 weeks, given UGA's bye week after Vanderbilt.

High ankle sprains are different than regular sprains. Even grade 1 sprains can take 4-6 weeks to heal enough to be active on. It all depends on if it is stable or unstable.

Nah. This isn't the same vandy teams of the past few years. They've got a few players, but overall they are not a very good team. I know we aren't either right now and we're basically playing our 2nd string, but we should win. The atmosphere won't be what it was in knoxville 2 weeks ago, and their team isn't nearly as good as missouri last week.
If we sleep walk in there we'll have issues, but with as bad as we are right now I don't see how ANYONE could sleepwalk this week. They know they need to bring their best. I wouldn't be surprised if it was under 7 points, but we should certainly win.

People casually forget that we beat their best team, probably ever, 48-3 last year. Granted we were healthy, but still...

I think we win this, but my confidence has been greatly shaken in our ability to win the games we are supposed to win. Our offense was the only reason why we have done so well, and now we're decimated. I'm just hoping our backup receivers have given Murray some confidence and we'll still be able to move the ball effectively without turning it over, because I still don't trust our defense to shut anyone down right now.

I don't think we're "supposed" to win any games where our 1st string is out.

I think everyone is supposed to win against Vandy.
