I'd like to see him in the game more

It's kind of a (glorious) catch 22 because if Marshall is in Gurley is out, and I'm so frickin high on gurley.

I think next year he'll have more success up the middle simply because he'll be stronger and the line will be better.

Hey they could both be in. I think either one could run a wildcat pretty well if they can learn to make the right read. Gurley took a direct snap in the bowl game to the house without being touched. Loved it.

We surprisingly ran the wildcat several times in the bowl game. I was shocked. I can think of at least 3 or 4 times where Marshall or Gurley took the direct snap with either the other one or Murray lined up at receiver.

Marshall ran it every time but the once I think. I like the play, they just need to make the read correctly. It's a hard formation for defenses if they can do it right.

I was surprised to see it, as well. I don't think I've seen it used all season, so they must have saw that Nebraska had a hard time with it and threw it in there for the bowl game. The TD run by Gurley was certainly effective.

Either way that fact there is only 2 examples of Marshall getting some yards between the tackles

Which is all you need to keep a defense honest

That isn't the case at all. I'm sure he's gotten many 3-8 yard runs up the middle. I was just pointing out those 2 because they were long runs of over 60 yards, that just happened to come from between the tackles.

good videos.

I like the run play with Marshall up the middle where the tight end goes out into the flats on a receiving route.

When you have a guy hit the hole as quickly as Marshall does, any misdirection can lead to a home run. And the OL doesn't need to hold a block very long, either. Just get there, and the damage is done.
