God bless this young man and hope he makes a full recovery.

quote:

“Everyone has been amazing,” he said. “Coach (Mark) Richt, assistant athletic director Carla Williams, Ron Courson (Georgia’s director of sports medicine), Chappy (Georgia team chaplain Kevin “Chappy” Hynes) and Coach (Bryant) Gantt visit every week. They’re all great. But Coach Gantt is the best. He pushes me and makes me work hard all the time. He’s great at motivating me. Coach Gantt also helped plan my surprise birthday party here at the Shepherd Center. He has been a big support to my family, especially Dad. I worry about my parents through all this so I appreciate that.”

Was about to post that myself. What a tremendous young man that suffered such a terrible accident. He's handled this with such incredible strength, courage, grace, and resolve.

My favorite part is the very end. "Fear knocked at the door, and when faith answered, no one was there. I have faith, so I'm fearless. My advice is to live life faithfully and fearlessly."

That guy is such an inspiration. Here I am feeling sorry for myself because of a broken leg, and he could be paralyzed for the rest of his life. It's really helps you put things into perspective. I am still hoping for some miracles for him, and that he one day makes a full recovery.
