Ga has a lot of nature to explore. I like being able to hike and then go out. I do appreciate just being out in the wild though. Georgia has a balance to it

I said national park, not national battlefield park. There's a difference.

Oh Oh Oh but it's not a national park.

PNW is a bitch, and should probably just check out.

I live on the border of a national forest, a state forest, and hundreds of miles of hiking trails. Natural lakes, the continental divide, a ski resort, a national park, and grizzly bears are my neighbors. I get that it's not Georgia, but it's pretty darn close.

So if my opinion isn't the same as yours, I'm a bitch. Gotcha.

How many times do I have to tell you that Georgia is a great state?

Eastern divide runs through Georgia.

GA doesn't have a ski resort. The shame....

grizzly bears

Bless your heart. I bet Georgia has more bears than Montana, per square mile. Not grizzlies, but bears in general.

So you're telling me that Montana is bigger than Georgia in size? The shame. I bet you aren't right.

Montana is home to the largest bear population in the united states, save Alaska. The majority of our counties have less than 6 people per square mile. There are more deer here than people. Maybe that's why I left the friendly congested state of Georgia. To get away from people like you? But St. Mary's though.... it's so damn pretty!

Northeast Georgia isn't congested from what I saw lol. To me balance is key, I enjoy having Whole Foods and publix by me but an easy escape away on the weekends. Plus I would make less if I didn't live near the atl

There's a great balance here in Flathead Valley. We have the essential shopping stuff in Kalispell, the local stuff in whitefish and Columbia Falls, and nature all around us. Y'all need to get out here for a week and I'll show ya around.

That's going to become our thing, take a beach trip in may and then some other adventure trip later in the year. Plus taking advantage of the area around here on summer weekends. We can't do it this year because I'm taking two weeks off for our wedding/honeymoon.

I do like the western US and really want to get out to Montana. Georgia though deserves praise for its unique balance. Monday-Friday it's corporate, and the spring summer and fall offer a great outdoors.

Charleston used to be very good, but haven't been there in years, so it may suck now.

I lived in Charleston for three years. They spend alot of money in Southern Living to convince people they have the best cuisine.

There's nothing in Charleston that you can't get ten of in Atlanta, save some secret hole in the wall seafood places here and there.

The best food in Charleston is cooked in people's own kitchens.
