No shortage here in Montana, but a steady $2.36 per gallon as it has been for several months now.
Man, we were at $1.79 not too long ago. Under $2.00 right before this line broke...

Oconee Crossing QT seems to be fine other than Premium.

Back in 2001, I was an electrician working on the Colonial Pipeline HQ building get in Alpharetta. The Reader's Digest version is that there are 5 40" pipes that go from Houston to NYC. 3 are owned by Colonial, and the other two are their competitor's - Plantation Pipeline. Every 50 miles or so, there's a pumping station to keep the gas moving.
The way we were told 15 years ago, is that if one of those pumping stations stopped working for more than 30 minutes, the price of gas is negatively affected along the entire East coast. That's why every pump station had a manual override desk in the HQ. The room looked like it was on the Death Star. Obviously a line break is infinitely worse than a pump failure.
Its just interesting to see that what the company folks said years ago turned out to be true.

Regular is still pumping around the Stone Mtn area but both grades of Premium are out.
I have to make a round trip to Hixson TN (Chat. area) tomorrow in a Premium gas only vehicle. Got enough in the tank to get there, but will need some on the return trip.
How's the high test supply looking on the i75 corridor?

Only a few stations with gas by the house. I was smart and took the initiative to fill up 5 55 gallon barrels. Put it in my pump at the house, have been charging neighbors $3.75 to fill up their farm equipment and vehicles. I'm almost out now, time for another trip to my secret fill up spot.

We were at $1.88 for regular last week. First shipment after the break we went to 1.91. Next day shipment we went to $1.99. Saturday shipment we went to $2.09. Today we got another tanker and jumped to $2.19.
Mapco here jumped to $2.19 last Thursday. They were reported to the state for price gouging and will likely get fined.

some of this is caused by gas hoarding. Another example of stupid people being stupid and blaming the government for anything and everything

FYI, it was reported about half an hour ago that the line had been repaired and was undergoing testing. Should be flowing again tomorrow.

Good news. Looks like gas is hit or miss in Douglasville. I found a mom and pop place last night with gas and filled up just to be sure.

Trucks are running so Im you will find gas somewhere. I'm just trying to hold off till the tanks get refilled, I don't want any of that trash at the bottom of the station's tank in my fuel system.

This afternoon I found a QT with a tanker in the parking lot 7 miles from home and filled up with SuperDuper Premium at $2.79 per. That should get me to TN and back with a bit to spare.

quicktrip 316 had 3 tankers in the parking lot

The Canton area was out Friday at most places. Had to pay $3.99/gal at the Shell on Riverstone Pkwy as they were the only ones with petro left. The QT and a few small stations were still out as of yesterday evening.
Already filed a report with BofA, will get that money back and will never use them to fill our vehicles again. Was my main gas station as I've always used Shell fuel and enjoy missing the crowded QT / Racerack nonsense. frick that shite though... Losers
Hate the panicky animals that frick everything up for the sane thinker every time they see some shite on the news. Grandfather designed that pipeline for Colonial and for the guy talking about water pipe issues, they don't just fix these pipeline issues overnight as they have to run a bypass line for various reasons. Will be back to normal tomorrow afternoon.

Depending how vindictive you're feeling, you may also want to file a complaint with the Consumer Protection division of the GA Atty. General's office. They do a pretty good job nailing price gougers.

I am feeling rather salty about the entire deal.
