Well, Logan was never put in the same situation. He may very well have been just as capable of going 1-1 vs tech and Nebraska. The world will never know.

I hope he is better, and he may well be. Only time will tell.

On a related note, I'm interested to see if we actually have a punt return game this year, now that we hired Ekeler and recruited a 5'8" jitterbug who's probably never called fair catch in his life.

It feels like it's been 3 years since we attempted to return a punt.

Idk, Reggie Davis made me wonder why UGA either always fair catches or says frick it, let's do this.

This much is undeniable.

Yeah it doesn't make sense. We'll either aut-call fair catch when the gunners are still 15 yards away, or the gunners will be millimeters from our returner's facemask and we'll say "don't care; returning punt" anyway.

I was talking about McKenzie. I don't want to ever see Davis or Swann back there again. They muffed a solid 40%* of their returns.

*that percentage is a guess and could be totally inaccurate

From G Day I saw Gurley doing Gurley things minus the fumble touchback you can tell hes getting back into playing shape. Mason can def handle the offense but like some of the other guys said he is having trouble with the deep ball, but then again he is missing Mitchell and JSW who are the deep ball threats. He seems to make good decisions but gets happy feet in the pocket. Our defensive line is going to be pretty dang good once Pruitt and Rocker get the rotation down and actually try scheming the defense towards what the offense is doing. The walk-on Davis looked good but I don't know how long he will hold on to that starting spot. Deftinelty earned a scholarship and playing time if he keeps up the hard work. Our secondary was swarming to the ball and will get better when they have more consistency with the guys that are going to play. I liked the fact we got some interceptions and Langley looks the part of a safety hopefully Matthews will get his stuff together. The offensive line looked real good at times but they still have a lot of improving to do. Rumph will not drop that many balls in the future. Sorry I am jumping around but so much was going on in the game
