William "Lucius" Ham:
High School: Stratford Academy, coached by Mark Farriba ... Earned GHSA A All-State, All-Region and All-Area honors as a kicker ... Helped the Eagles earn state runner-up honors in 2014 ... Played on Stratford’s 2012 state championship soccer team ... Member of the Beta and Pep clubs and on the High Honor Roll.
Ham walked on to Georgia as a freshman in 2014 but left the team prior to the start of the 2015 season.
Former head coach Mark Richt reached out to Ham during the middle of last season about re-joining the football program, with Smart honoring the agreement reached between the previous staff and the former Stratford Academy standout.
Rodrigo Blankenship:
Blankenship, who played high school football at Sprayberry, competed for a couple of roles early last preseason – kickoff duties and at punter – before a decision was made to redshirt him. Blankenship has also stood out since the kicking competition began in the spring. Through the spring scrimmages and G-Day game, a source stated Blankenship connected on 84 percent of his combined field goal and extra point attempts. Blankenship actually made his 46-yarder at G-Day despite dealing with a minor leg upper leg injury.
On paper, these guys are not nearly as bad as they have performed. But then again our o-line isn't either. The failure of both of these aspects of our team is a head-scratcher to me, and one that I hope we can fix this season. It won't likely be this Sat, however. We don't match up very well with TN right now.

But this position, which Smart stated worry over immediately after taking the Georgia head coaching job, isn’t deemed as concerning based on what’s transpired since the spring.

You have an interesting definition of "fun".
FWIW, on one of the Georgia podcasts (I forget which) one of thenGeorgia media guys mentions knowing someone who knew Ham in high school and hearing that he had anxiety issues.

Their own shadows only induce panic attacks every third time they see them?
