It's already started. 4 Alabama players diagnosed with Covid. What happens on 9/19 when 10 Alabama players have Covid??? I don't think this bodes well for a fall football schedule.

Didn’t this happen like a week ago?

I believe we’ll have football, but it will be wild when a star quarterback or running back gets diagnosed with COVID the day before a big game. Conspiracy theories will be insane.

The Gumps will be more shorthanded which makes it easier to get a win in Tuscaloosa. What's the problem?

What if the star player test positive before a big game. How many coaches would be tempted to not disclose it?

They are opening six flags over Georgia next week and White Water. You think football is in jeopardy 3 months from now when all the teams are already opening back up? You are out of your fricking mind.

We’d already have baseball back in the US if they weren’t greedy little bitches

There will be football. But will it be played in front of a live audience? If not, how much does that take some emotion out of it.

Good for visiting teams, maybe? No problem getting the audibles heard.

well 30 players at Clemson tested positive. If you exclude those 30 then probably another 30 already had it this spring and didn't know it, that doesn't leave too many players to become infected between now and September.

It's getting really bad in Georgia now, nearly 1700 new cases a day lately? I guess we'll see what happens

Hey, it's just the flu. It will pass. No big deal. Isn't that what most Trump supporters on here believe? Who cares if tens of thousands of more people possibly die.

Lately, GA daily new tests released have tripled but new cases have only doubled. An average 7th grader would know that's a good thing.

HT what is your solution, stay home and destroy people's businesses? I personally think we should have shutdown just long enough for the medical community and supply chain to catch up.

Vaccine is Q1 2021.

Good to see the racists and morons (IT Dawg) are holding down the fort on the UGA forums. At least some guys are still hanging around to check the idiots.

It’s a shame what this forum is. 125000 American dead in 3 months ‘just the flu’.

To be fair, 60,000 of those were going to be dead in a month anyway, and the other 60,000 died of something else but also had cv.

So there are no excess deaths?

I can't say that everything you post is nonsense but it's hard to find anything else.

How can we tell when we see stuff like this?

Notice flu cases supposedly fell off a cliff in March to around 5% of their norm.

A 95% reduction in flu cases? The moment COVID testing rolls out?

Can you not process the simple logic there that COVID deaths would obviously be supplanting typical flu deaths by an astronomical margin?

And that doesn't even factor in that a massive percentage of COVID deaths are extreme elderly people and people with serious pre-existing conditions who would have likely died very soon even without COVID. But they, too, are being counted as part of the 123,000.

All you have to do is use your head, guys. Our government and media can't be trusted. Why some of you hang on their every word and mandate, without question or skepticism, is just baffling. These people are liars and cheaters, and will do and say anything to benefit themselves and their cronies, and all at our expense. They've been fricking us for decades, and yet you still afford them untold amounts of trust and reverence, to the point you give them more respect and faith than your fellow average Americans who are in the same boat with you.

I just don't get it.
