I just watched the concussion in the Dallas/Seattle game. It caused me to reminisce.
Midwest City Oklahoma, 1968 or so. Cleveland Bailey Bulldogs vs. Del City.
My first concussion. Not serious, just a few "vision stars", like you see in cartoons. Others would follow.
I still love the game.
During a routine physical, my doctor commented on the healed cracks on my chest X-ray.
"Bruises from a long time ago".
I still love the game.
I have a 14" scar on my left knee. ACL/MCL meniscus.
I still love the game.
I had a friend pieced by a cleat in his temple by a Valdosta player. He committed suicide years later.
I kinda like the game.
Knees, ribs, shoulders, hamstrings, are part of the game.
It's a brutal sport.
I've seen too much.

My first concussion freaked me the frick out.
I legitimately lost my ability to see color for about 5-10 seconds.

Like the opposite of The Wizard of Oz..........where it begins in black and white, but she sees full color while knocked out?
Far out.

Funny thing about that movie. When Dorothy wakes up, It's back to black and white.
Film noir aside, what point are you trying to make?
