The cream rises to the top - sure handed and reliable Reggie Davis. Thankfully they passed on butter-fingered Malcolm Mitchell.

It's Wizception.

In related news, I think the Wiz win by 8 tonight.

Has a single player done more to screw uga than Reggie Davis? Ut 2015, uf 2015, Vandy 2o16, and something else.

Uh, yeah. Tray Matthews contributed to that Auburn miracle, screwing UGA out of the greatest comeback in school history, and then went on to transfer to the same program and acted like an absolute dipshit in doing so. That's far more egregious than anything Reggie Davis did.

Besides, what is the point of shitting on him any further? The guy got his degree and was signed to an NFL roster. Even though he probably won't make the team, I'm still happy for him.

Seems like you have a solid grasp on how undrafted free agents work!

Matthews didn't come close to screwing uga as much as Davis did, especially when you consider That au play was more on jhc.

if Davis makes the Falcons my faith in their 2017 season would take a serious hit.

Why does RD get the majority of the blame for those losses, mainly Tennessee? I remember him returning a punt to put UGA up by 3 TDs. That should've put it away. One special teams gaffe does not excuse the rest of the team's play in the other losses either.

The guy made plenty of mistakes on the field, but again, what is the point of continuing to shite on him when his college career is over?

How about the coaches that kept putting Reggie Davis in those situations?

He just wasn't that good, but when our coaches keep putting him back on punt return or kick return, that's on them.

Davis was a 3* WR, and put up that kind of production in his career.

Tends to happen when you drop a game tying pass when time is running out, or you shift momentum in a close game with an idiotic decision to field a punt inside the 10, or you put your offense on your 2 yard line with what might have been the dumbest kickoff return attempt I can remember.

Yes. I'm aware that all of those things happened. I watch the games, too.

When your offense outgains Vandy by over twice as many yards and only scores 16 points in a loss, one player isn't to blame - everyone is.

I'm just saying, I don't see a point in holding a grudge against him, especially when he's one of the few from that 2013 class who actually finished a 4 year career at UGA.

The coaches who continued to give RD opportunities to ruin seasons were idiots. No player on the team would have been as disastrous in those situations. Relying on RD got Richt fired.

Losing Bobo got Richt fired. Say what you will about Bobo, but those offenses from 2011-2014 were fricking powerful. McGarity refused to pay Bobo so he left and we got stuck with Schoettenheimer. The 2015 offense was punchless and Lambert had no confidence.

Even if Davis catches the pass against Tennessee, I had little faith in the defense to stop them and they probably would have won anyways. That would have tied the game, not given us the lead.

Davis made a lot of boneheaded plays in his career. The worst one was the godawful muffed punt against Florida inside his own 5.
